Come Celebrate You!

As we seek to continually celebrate our staff throughout the year for your commitment to our patients, their loved ones and each other, this month is designated as employee appreciation month.

The events for this year are outlined below, and shared, University-wide events can also be located on the Duke Appreciation Web site: http://today.duke.edu/2013/05/dukeappreciation

Movie Night on the Quad, during which time employees can enjoy a movie on the East Campus Lawn, is scheduled for Friday, May 17 (rain date is May 24) starting at 7:30 p.m. Duke Hospital will sponsor an alternate event on Wednesday, May 22 (see flyer) and Thursday, May 23 for staff who are unable to attend this event due to patient-care responsibilities.

Duke Human Resources will offer: ice-cream, Italian Ice, lemonade and bottled water on Thursday, May 23 during the following shifts/times:

Day Shift: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Duke Hospital (North) Courtyard

Evening Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 12:30a.m., Outside of the Duke Hospital (North) Cafeteria

Duke Clinic (South): 1:00 p.m. – 3 p.m., In the MLK Picture Gallery

ALL EMPLOYEES WILL BE ASKED TO PRESENT A BADGE TO PARTICIPATE

For staff members who work in outlying locations, we have cupcakes that will be delivered.
